ELLE DECOR recently did an interview with Jenna Lyons, the creative director for J. Crew. The interview highlighted 12 things she can't live without. Of those, there were a couple of home decor items that I just had to put on here.
This is Jenna's 1960's chair in her office. Since she is known for ideally mixing three different materials in the clothing line, it is not surprising that she finds this chair endearing. It mixes Lucite, brass and leather. It is definitely an interesting, work of art!
Sheets from Olatz made the shortlist! The crisp, bright colors definitely pop in her black bedroom.
Jenna has a great eye for interesting details at J. Crew, which carries over into her home. These are silver vases from Astier de Villatte that look like cans without labels. So fun!
Jenna loves Fred Sandback drawings. She says "I love that something so simple could be so beautiful."
Okay, this is pretty amazing. Her wall of shoes made the list. I thought it was fun that she claims her son of 3, Beckett, picks her shoes for the day every morning! That's a job I think I would be good at Mrs. Lyons.
Thanks for stopping by friends!
