IKEA

Ikea. So what's all the hype about? Could it be the delicious Swedish meatballs in their cafeteria? The ridiculously, amazing prices? The cool staged rooms on their huge showroom?

After the new 356,000 sq. ft. Ikea was built in Charlotte, I have frequented there more often. I find it a good idea to visit their website before going to help make the experience not so overwhelming! This will give you a better idea of what you are interested in purchasing before even stepping foot in the door. They offer many sleek designs and great storage options. Remember that it is always smart to bring along your measurements for the areas you wish to fill.

Here are some of their furnishings and textiles that have caught my eye:Markor TV Unit, 299.

Koldby Cowhide Rug, 249.Vika Table, 139. Liatorp Pedestal Dining Table with Extra Leaf, 249.
Sater Leather Sofa, 399.

Mammut Children's Chest, 129.

Trollsta Tray Table, 99.99.Trollsta Sideboard, 349.

Stockholm Footstool, 279

Gregor Swivel Chair, 89.99. Edit 100% Silk Pillow/Cushion Cover, 10.
Liatrop Coffee Table with Glass Top, Drawer and Shelf, 279.

Cat/Dog Bed, for the pet who has everything, 49.99.

Make sure to check their website for upcoming promotions and cafeteria specials. The last time my husband and I visited Ikea, our 15-piece swedish meatball plates with mashed potatoes and lingonberries were only $1 each! It was the highlight of husband's week!
